Eurasia Tunnel was found worthy of the “Maintenance and Renewal Method” award by the New Civil Engineers Magazine, the most respectable engineering magazine of the United Kingdom, for the project it realized together with Arup, aimed at enhancing the energy productivity and sustainability.
The project, which was mainly targeting to enhance the environmental productivity of the intra-tunnel ventilation systems, also improved the performance of the existing equipment and prolonged their lives. Eurasia Tunnel and Arup executives took the award from Mark Hansford, the editor of New Civil Engineer Magazine, at a ceremony held in London.
